Role: Designer & Creative Producer | Academic Project (D&AD Brief)
Challenge: Teenagers with Down syndrome and Fragile X syndrome often face barriers in learning about consent and personal agency. Traditional teaching methods may not engage them effectively.
What I did:
Designed a Live Action Role-Play (LARP) where players investigated the disappearance of a character named Codie.
Built a narrative structure exploring relationships, decision-making, and boundaries.
Developed locations, characters, and clue systems to immerse learners in the story.
Implemented structured safety measures (green/amber/red signals) for accessibility.
Outcome:Enabled participants to practice decision-making and consent conversations in a safe, interactive environment.
Demonstrated how storytelling and play can improve knowledge retention and behaviour change.
